Cambridge Artist has three sculptures in "Redeeming Beauty"

(SNR) CAMBRIDGE ARTIST - Sondra L. Jonson of St. John the Baptist Parish has three sculptures (including "I Thirst," pictured at right) in "Redeeming Beauty," a juried exhibition of 47 works in a variety of media showcasing outstanding examples of contemporary Christian art. "Redeeming Beauty," sponsored by The Foundation for Sacred Arts, opened at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. Aug 31. The exhibition, which will be held in Memorial Hall, can be seen until its close Oct 14. The mission is to encourage sacred art for the glory of God and the transformation of society. Future sites for the exhibition will be in Florida, Indiana and California.
