“Allelujah - He is Risen!” is a 7 ft. high bronze for the Resurrection Chapel at Mt. St. Mary's, Wichita, KS. It is
placed above the “Doors of Eternal Life” (also created by the artist)
situated approximately 12 ft. off the floor.
This unique and senstive interpretation of the resurrection of Jesus was created for the Sisters of St. Joseph and installed in their chapel in June, '05. Jonson demonstrates her mastery of design, as well as light and color, in creating a dramatic illustration of the brilliant power and glory of the moment Jesus was resurrected.
